Amandari

Inspired by a traditional village, Amandari is framed by jungle and rice terraces in Bali’s cultural heartland. Alang-alang-thatched houses – some with pools, all with private tropical gardens – cosset guests under bamboo ceilings, their suites elegantly decorated with teak and coconut-wood.
From the paras stone walls and private entrances to each suite, to the alang-alang thatched roofs and the curved infinity pool, which was Ubud's first, guests are welcomed into an oasis of seclusion and comfort.

Garden Pavilion
Amandari’s free-standing Garden Pavilion are accessed via winding pebble pathways, much like a traditional Balinese village.
Beautifully envisaged over 250 square metres, each is surrounded by tropical foliage, with a private garden courtyard and outdoor living area to enjoy.
Each pavilion also has its own sunken marble bathtub, king-sized bed and bathroom with twin vanities ensuring ample space to retreat, whether exploring the cultural heartland of Ubud or simple seeking solace.
Valley Pavilion
With breathtaking views of the Ayung River Gorge or verdant rice paddies, free-standing Valley Pavilions are designed over 250 square metre and open onto a private garden, outdoor bathtub and living area.
Surrounded by paras stone walls, the space remains private yet invites nature in, designed in marble, teak and coconut wood to reflect the verdant surroundings. Inside, a king-sized bed, bathroom with twin vanities and dressing area creates a comfortable space, ideal for couples to enjoy.
Garden Pool Pavilion
Each of Amandari’s 265 square metre Garden Pool Pavilion feature an inviting plunge pool and verdant garden views.
Making the most of this serene setting, the suites also offer an outdoor sunken marble bathtub, garden and outdoor living area affording guests an opportunity to reconnect with nature.
Paras stone walls ensure complete privacy, and interiors feature coconut and teak wood accents, where a king-sized bed, bathroom with twin vanities and separate dressing area provide a modern yet understated retreat.
Duplex Pavilion
With 280 square metres (3,021 square feet), these pavilions feature a duplex layout connected by a wooden spiral staircase.
Canopied queen-size beds, a living and dining area with writing desk and outdoor daybeds create versatile spaces for relaxation.
The entrance, highlighted by a Balinese-style stone gateway, introduces the pavilion’s outdoor courtyard, while the bathtub, twin vanity, rain shower and dressing areas provide indulgent comfort.
Duplex Pool Villa
With a similar layout to the Duplex Pavilion, the Duplex Pool Villas span 465 square metres (5,076 square feet) across two levels, connected by an elegant wooden spiral staircase and comes with a eight metre private swimming pool.
Dining
Exposed to cooling mountain breezes, the open-air main restaurant and adjacent bar enjoy spectacular views of the pool and the Ayung River. Offering fine tropical dining from breakfast through to dinner, The Restaurant serves up a sophisticated menu of Indonesian and Western dishes. An upper level provides an ideal space for more intimate dinners, while private dining is available in-suite, 24-hours a day.

Overlooking the swimming pool with all-embracing views of the Ayung River Valley, the open-air Restaurant serves Indonesian and Western cuisines for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The main dining room seats 48, while a private dining room upstairs caters for 12. Every evening at dusk, gamelan players perform their intriguing melodies accompanied by a chorus of birds.
The Terrace Bar
Glowing with the soft emerald light of sunshine through leaves, the Terrace Bar rests adjacent to the pool. The ideal location for a refreshing drink or light meal throughout the day, it is also the perfect spot for a cocktail to toast the setting sun. Open until 11pm every night, it is a convivial venue for after dinner drinks.

Perched right on the lip of the Ayung River Gorge, the open-sided Bale can cater for up to four people.
