Designed by the world-class landscape architect Bill Bensley, the camp has 22 one-bedroom tent villas and a two-bedroom chalet. All room types are equipped with a private saltwater pool and outdoor terrace. Located in the centre of lush rainforest, you are in an ecological sanctuary and in harmony with the surrounding nature.

All of the tented retreats are adorned with valuable antique art objects and furniture, some of which are from the owner’s treasured private collection. The owner, Mr. Suwito Gunawan, a prominent businessman from Jakarta, is an avid art collector who is planning to open an art gallery on a site adjacent to Capella Ubud, Bali in the foreseeable future to further complement the experience.

Terrace Tent

These 173aqm Terrace Tents sit near the paddy fields on flat terrain, with views that overlook the rice terraces and rainforest.

Inside, timeless charm meets sumptuous modern comforts such as the hammered copper freestanding bath and art and antiques from the owner’s private collection.

With large outdoor decks, an indoor and outdoor bathroom, you'll get unspoilt views across the lush forest. All have outdoor dining areas, oversized daybeds and private pools.

Rainforest Tents

The Rainforest Tents are similar to Terrace Tents in layout and size, but these retreats are scattered around the camp inside the rainforest, allowing you to enjoy the scenic views overlooking the rainforest.

The Rainforest Tents also has Indoor and outdoor bathrooms, featuring hammered copper freestanding bath with indoor and outdoor showers.

River Tents

Offering a tranquil Wos river experience, the River Tents offer views that overlook the Wos river - allowing you to embrace the closeness of nature and hear the rippling sounds of water as you fall asleep at night.

Individually styled, each retreat is inspired by the vocations of early explorers, enhanced by modern amenities and thoughtful touches including organic bathroom products and beautiful hammered copper baths.

You will also get your own outdoor dining areas, oversized daybeds and private pools.

Keliki Valley Tents

Well-positioned within the rainforest from an elevated position, the Keliki Valley Tent overlooks and provides and unobstructed views acorss the beautiful Keliki Valley.

Curl up on a daybed or relax on a poolside lounger next to your private infinity pool.

Inside, explorer-inspired design and modern comforts are combined to create a private, luxurious sanctuary for guests.

The Lodge

The Lodge boasts an exotic, oriental Chinese colour scheme and design blended into the terraced landscape It offers impressive unobstructed, lush green Keliki valley views and an open plan living room.

Mads Lange

The Camp’s split-level tented dining room offers a contemporary European homemade and home-grown epicurean dining experience driven by seasonality and sustainably farmed produce.

The main dining area of the restaurant is a replica of a rice barn made of beautiful timber, décor is eclectic and playful with Kamasan paintings adorned the cathedral-style ceiling.

A massive balcony offers Instagram-worthy view overlooking the swimming pool and manicured garden. Open seven days per week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Api Jiwa

Inspired by Asian omakse, this highly interactive and intimate Asian barbecue that serves authentic and new age bites in a theatrical enrichening neck to tail, farm to table culinary fashion.

Watch the magic happen around the Chef’s counter or at the private dining table for a course by course journey through unexpected bites and exciting tastes showcasing the best local produce from Bali. Expect no elaborate menu as the Chef will tailor a delectable sensory journey according to your desires.

The Mortar and Pestle Bar

The Camp Fire

The Camp Fire invites you to spend an evening under the stars, relaxing around the fire and listening to fascinating tales shared by a local storyteller over camp favourites such as hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows.

Some nights the Camp Fire will host silent black and white movies depicting Bali during the 1800s, on other nights you will be serenaded by our jungle orchestra.

If you're looking for something different, why not indulge in a dining experience that is catered just for you? Choose from their in-retreat dining with a dining buffet set up prepared entirely to your liking, or go crazy - a wide range of unique dining experiences such as dining among the jungle or rice paddy is available upon request too.


The Officer's Tent

The Officers Tent, exclusively reserved for residents of our ultra-luxurious camp, is the camp’s living room and library, where you get treated to morning coffee, afternoon tea, the daily evening cocktail, canapé ritual and after-dinner drinks, are served. A wide range of books, international magazines and board games are available for our guests’ entertainment.

The Cistern

Located behind the spa, the camp’s main swimming pool is a replica of a water reservoir found in the campsite of yesteryear.
