Arva

A lakeside Italian restaurant with a serene view, Arva at Amanyangyun embraces cucina del raccolto, or 'harvest cuisine,' highlighting seasonal, Italian-inspired dishes crafted from the finest fresh produce. The menu features wholesome classics with a range of larger dishes designed to be shared.
Elevate your meal with impeccable wines from the resort's own wine cellar, with the manager at Arva drawing from his vast knowledge of wines to curate the perfect wine pairing.
Lazhu

Overlooking a tranquil bamboo grove, Lazhu is known for its innovative use of Chinese spices, fish and tea oil, and food prepared using traditional cooking techniques. It serves a menu of dishes from the Eastern China province of Jiangxi, with several private dining rooms offer peaceful garden views – ideal for hosting elegant events.

The Bar

Amanyangyun guests can head to The Bar to while away the afternoon, sharing a freshly prepared high tea with loved ones or relaxing in front of the spectacular central fireplace with a drink from the extensive list of rare, spirits, fine wines, craft beers and classic and signature cocktails.

Yinlu

Named after the traditional pots that historically warmed Chinese homes, Yinlu is set in a bamboo grove with lakeside views of Amanyangyun’s magnificent camphor forest. Yinlu celebrates the Chinese culinary tradition of hot pot in Cantonese style. Meat, vegetables and seafood, including abalone, grouper and lobster, are cooked in steaming silver pots of broth that rest in the middle of each table.

Spa

Set around an impressive central courtyard, the 2,840 square meteres Amanyangyun Spa & Wellness Centre is one of the largest and most comprehensive in Shanghai. Its ethos and atmosphere draw inspiration from the resort’s name, ‘Yang Yun’, part of a 300-year old inscription within Beijing’s
Forbidden City meaning ‘nourishing cloud’.

At Amanyangyun, the Russian-inspired Banya Bathing Suite includes a wooden-clad Banya sauna and steam room alongside a serene relaxation area.

Leave the body gently cleansed and exfoliated with a signature hammam experience. Combining a steam bath, scrub and massage, the ancient treatment is followed by use of hot and cold hydrotherapy facilities, before a nourishing herbal tea and refreshments in the Lounge.
