Awarded the Robb Report’s Best of the Best 2019, ‘[Kudadoo] is a mash-up of all the best modern resort characteristics – eco-friendly, ultra-remote […]. Designed by New York-based architect Yuji Yamazaki, the 15 residences have a touch of Japanese ryokan aesthetic, but with 21st-century additions, from sprawling lap pools to high-tech sound systems. With a butler on hand 24/7, there’s little reason to venture very far—unless you’re lured by the resort’s “retreat,” which comes with a solar-powered Himalayan salt room; a cheese room and wine cellar; a sea-breeze-cooled spa.‘.
Designed to be a sanctuary of serenity for those seeking an all-inclusive luxury experience complemented with an abundance of personal space. Kudadoo is an exclusive private island surrounded by a beautiful lagoon, a stunning house reef and long stretches of white sandy beach, measuring about 200 metres long by 200 metres wide. Every detail has been carefully considered with the resort’s exclusively appointed fifteen, highly styled one and two-bedroom residences floating above the aquamarine waters of the Indian Ocean.
Kudadoo is a unique, all-inclusive resort where every wish is granted with their ‘Anything, Anytime, Anywhere’ concept with no restrictions. As General Manager Bradley Calder comments:
“Kudadoo is designed to be every luxury traveller’s personal dream – our mantra is ‘Anything, Anytime, Anywhere’. A butler will meet your every need, personalised cuisine will satisfy your every craving, private experiences on sea or land will bring out your inner adventurer and our blissful wellness spa will rejuvenate your senses.
And everything is included: whatever you want to eat (including in-residence), drink (apart from the owner’s wine cellar) and experience on land or sea. We believe that a truly luxury experience is not needing to consider any additional expense.”
A refreshingly inclusive concept, Kudadoo aims to make your holiday genuinely luxurious with anything your heart desires with these three facets:
This allows you to venture on a culinary journey that is up to your own imagination from unique dining destinations to premium beverages and dishes. Guests are invited to choose whatever, whenever and wherever they want to eat – in villa, under the stars or even on a deserted sand bank.
Refreshing Spa Treatments
You get to immerse in limitless relaxation and wellness spa treatments where ever you are on the island, with purposefully crafted treatments, indulgences and remedies. Enjoy complimentary signature spa treatments and experiences wherever and whenever they wish during their stay.
Based at The Retreat, the spa includes a Himalayan Salt Room – another first for the Maldives – a nail bar, steam room, sauna and treatment rooms with horizon views as well as a fully equipped gym with a personal trainer, yoga instructor and meditation guru at the full disposal of guests.
At Kudadoo, you can ensure that your days are filled with a myraid of adventures in, on and above the ocean. Guests are invited to swim with Manta Rays, turtles and dolphins as well as kite-surf, windsurf, blue light snorkel at night, paddle-board at sunrise and jet ski, wakeboard, kayak as well as scuba-dive with sharks or deep-sea fish for sailfish or marlin. All activities are private and complementary.
To get to the island, there is a direct seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport that takes you on a scenic 40-minute flight.
What makes Kudadoo truly unique amongst the myriad of resorts available in Maldives is the emotional connection between Kudadoo and its guests - creating a true ‘home-from-home’ feeling. Given Kudadoo’s intimacy, the atmosphere is similar to that of a private members’ club and it is believed that their genuine, meaningful approach will define Kudadoo as the ultimate all-encompassing luxury experience for the Maldives.
Located atop an aquamarine lagoon is your secluded hideaway. At every point in the design and operation of Kudadoo, the team has minimised its environmental impact. Together with Yuji Yamazaki, the architectural mastermind behind the private island, we have sourced exclusively eco-conscious materials for your residence, including wood from sustainably managed forests in Canada, New Zealand and Indonesia.
