Cheval Blanc Seychelles: Latest LVMH Hotel Opening 15 Dec 2024

Cheval Blanc is set to unveil its sixth ‘maison’ along the picturesque southwestern coast of Mahé Island, Seychelles. Nestled on Anse Intendance beach, this luxurious retreat—designed by renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy—offers a harmonious blend of Creole traditions and the island’s stunning natural beauty. The property, which will debut this winter, marks another significant milestone in Cheval Blanc's growing portfolio of luxury destinations under LVMH.

The new Cheval Blanc Seychelles is designed as a luxurious home away from home. It will feature 52 exquisite villas, each equipped with private swimming pools and offering sweeping views of either the beachfront, hillside, or tropical jungle. Ranging from 220 to 1,950 square meters, these villas promise a secluded, intimate stay while embracing the island’s lush surroundings.

The artistry of the property is as remarkable as its architecture. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by the striking Centauresse sculpture by French artist Prune Nourry, which rises majestically from a tranquil pond amidst towering banyan trees. Inside each villa, works by Malagasy artist Joël Andrianomearisoa adorn the walls, creating a sense of connection to nature. Further artistic expression is evident at the Italian eatery, Vivamento, where a glazed ceramic fresco by Maximilien Pellet pays tribute to the convivial spirit of Etruscan banquets.

The culinary offerings at Cheval Blanc Seychelles are equally impressive. Five dining venues will cater to diverse palates, including Mizumi, an Asian lakeside restaurant, and Sula, a Mediterranean beach club. Guests can also indulge in the brand’s signature dining concepts: Le 1947, a French gastronomic experience, and Le White, which offers a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Wellness and recreation are central to the Cheval Blanc experience. The Spa Cheval Blanc will offer a collection of signature Guerlain rituals, ensuring guests leave rejuvenated. The maison will also include a fitness room, a pool, a surf simulator, and courts for tennis and padel, offering plenty of opportunities for both relaxation and activity. Younger guests will be enchanted by the Carrousel, an adventure-filled haven designed to spark their imaginations as they explore nature.

With the successful launch of the 72-key Cheval Blanc Paris in 2021, and now the imminent debut of Cheval Blanc Seychelles, the brand continues to solidify its reputation for delivering unparalleled luxury, artistry, and personalised service in some of the world’s most breathtaking destinations.
