Villa

In 1912, the Austrian monarchy built a doctors’ residence here as an annex for the planned neighbouring sanatorium. After careful restoration of the historic building, the remodelled villa is now a private retreat for up to 10 people.

It opens up views of the Dolomites and the large private garden with pool, all surrounded by natural forests. The ground floor features a living room with fireplace, a kitchen and a breakfast and dining room; the first floor offers a master bedroom, master bathroom, dressing room and two more bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. On the open top floor, there is a large living area with home cinema and lounge, as well as two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
The villa's fully equipped kitchen is supplied every morning with fresh food from local farms. The centrepiece of the kitchen is a block of dolomite stone with a stove and large working surface, with space for cooking together. A private chef is always available to prepare individually chosen menus.

The villa can only be booked exclusively and offers its guests unrestricted privacy during their stay. There is a concierge and a butler as well as a private chef available at all times for any queries or requests that guests might have.
Dining
Restaurant

FORESTIS' restaurant offers breakfast and à la carte meals in the evening. The restaurant is step shaped, so each table offers the desired privacy and at the same time a wide view of the surrounding forests and sunsets over the Dolomites. Nature can be experienced through floor-to-ceiling windows. In summer guests can also sit on the directly adjoining terrace. New menus are put together every day to offer the guest a variety.
Bar
The bar and lounge with terrace are located in the historic building. The little fireplaces indoors and outdoors encourage regular evening get-togethers that fully reflect the warmth and hospitality of South Tyrol. FORESTIS adopts the Celtic understanding of nature in its ceremonial creation of various drinks: using essences from the surrounding forests, such as herbs, nuts, and berries, as well as shrubs, barks, and fir needles, each drink is a work of art.
Spa and Wellness

The FORESTIS Spa extends over an area of 2,000 m² underneath the three towers and is spread over two floors with a view of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Dolomites.
On the ground floor level there is the reception and a 20 x 4.3 metre indoor pool, which is connected to a 22 x 5 metre outdoor pool. There is also a brine steam bath (65°C), a Finnish sauna (85°C), a bio sauna (70°C), a textile sauna (Finnish sauna with 45°C) and an outdoor sauna (Finnish sauna with 90°C) in a traditional South Tyrolean wooden house.
The Silent Room, with a fireplace in the middle is where guests are supposed to enjoy the silence after their sauna session. The Tea Lounge with its own curated library is the second retreat. Here eight of our own tea blends from South Tyrol as well as light snacks are served.
The spa also houses four treatment rooms, a private spa for couple treatments and two cosmetic rooms and relaxation rooms. There is also a gym with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment of the latest generation and the spacious Wyda area, the European version of yoga. All rooms have daylight and an unobstructed view of nature.
Experiences

The pristine nature around the Hideaway FORESTIS exudes a unique tranquillity. The bracing air at an altitude of 1,800 m and the beauty of the landscape of the Puez-Geisler Nature Park are perfect for sports activities pursued independently or with a guide.

All year-round guided hikes of all levels of difficulty take place from the FORESTIS. Hikes into the sunrise are particularly impressive. For mountain biking, there are four bike routes on the Plose mountain, which mainly lead through extensive and dense forests.

In FORESTIS, Wyda takes place in the open air in the forest, along streams or mountain rocks in good weather. Otherwise the European way of Yoga is offered in the FORESTIS Spa.
Ski-in/ski-out is also available at FORESTIS. Just put on your ski boots, get on the boards, and follow a forest path directly from the ski room of the FORESTIS to the piste. The 45 kilometres of slopes in the Plose ski area have a balanced ratio of blue, red, and black runs.

There are also toboggan runs and winter hiking trails for non-skiers. On request, the FORESTIS hiking guide leads the guests on snowshoes over frozen streams, snow-covered woods, and untouched snowfields through the Puez-Odle Natural Park, which is adjacent to the FORESTIS. A ski tour from the FORESTIS to the Gabler with a subsequent descent to the south is part of the off-piste skiing experience.
