COMO Point Yamu

COMO Point Yamu, on a secluded east coast peninsula of Phuket, Thailand, has 360 degree views across the Andaman Sea and the ancient limestone karsts of the UNESCO-protected Phang Nga Bay.

The superior location of the resort allows every guest who comes here to enjoy a lore perspective overlooking the Andaman Sea and the dramatic limestones of Phang Nga Bay.

The bay includes hundreds of islands, most of them forested, uninhabited and ringed by coral reefs, perfect for cruising, diving and exploration.

COMO Point Yamu is accessible by a 25 minutes car ride from Phuket International Airport.

The interior aesthetic is by renowned Italian designer Paola Navone, which feature bright aquamarines and burnt oranges to reflect the presence of the sea, Thailand’s Buddhist culture and the colourful influence of Phuket’s Peranakan culture.

The beautiful infinity pool overlooks the vast Andaman Sea, perfect for lounging and a swim under the hot sun.

 

Accommodation

COMO Point Yamu’s Phuket accommodation is colourful yet uncluttered, contemporary yet indigenous. Blue and turquoise design accents in our 79 rooms and suites, and 27 private villas are offset by cool white and grey Sino patterned tiles and floor-to-ceiling windows framing the spectacular views.

 

Bay Suite

The 45sqm Bay Rooms maximises natural light that floods in from the Andaman Sea or from the Cape's charming natural scenery. Each room has a king or twin bed draped in crisp white Egyptian cotton.

There is an indoor dining table with two chairs, a guest bathroom, a separate living room overlooking both Phang Nga and Yamu Bay.

The beautifully decorated and navy blue accented bathroom comes with a bath and separate shower stall, luxuriously appointed with COMO Shambhala bathroom amenities.

Verandah Suite

Verandah Rooms are extremely spacious at 120sqm, comanding either sea or cape views with large floor-to-ceiling windows.

A large balcony with a queen-size daybed and outdoor table allows you to nestle in the fantastic views. Inside, the extra space allows for indoor dining for four, as well as a guest powder room.

 

Phang Nga Suite

There are a total of three of these headline and spacious 164sqm suites. Inside, the extra space allows for indoor dining for four, as well as a guest powder room.

All have balconies, with one reaching out to 54 square metres. The views are second to none: the Andaman Sea sparkles through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Within, there are king beds luxuriously appointed with Egyptian cotton.

Enjoy a dip as you take in the panaronomic sea views from your bright, airy and spacious bathroom.

 

Bay Pool Suite

These nine pool suites are 123sqm, with large decks (up to 20 square metres, each with a 23sq m pool).

The internal space for all these pool suites are 80 square metres and includes an indoor dining table for two, and guest powder room.

Bathrooms are beautifully decked in blue and turquoise design accents, with a separate bathroom stall and double vanity.

 

1 Bedroom Pool Villa

One-Bedroom Pool Villas are 170sqm, each with a 25sq m pool and generous indoor and outdoor lounge and dining area.

A second interior seating area converts into a single bed that is useful for those travelling with children. Each villa accommodates two adults and one child.

The bathroom is appointed with a bathtub, separate rainforest shower, and a double vanity.

Expansive views of Phang Nga Bay can be enjoyed from the comforts of your own balcony.

 

Dining

COMO Point Yamu offers some of the best dining in Phuket with a choice of Italian, Thai or healthy COMO Shambhala Cuisine to maximise energy and wellbeing. COMO Shambhala Cuisine isn’t about calorie counting; rather they present food that optimises nutrition while tasting delicious. It is designed to maximise energy with the use of raw foods rich in living enzymes, vitamins and sea minerals - perfect for the health-conscious guests.


La Sirena

Opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner, La Sirena is an Italian restaurant located by the poolside and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Whether you are seated inside, outside, under the pergola or by the pool, La Sirena benefits from views of aquamarine Phang Nga Bay stretching out beyond the 100m infinity pool.


Breakfast includes a lavish spread of fruit, homemade cereals, fresh fruit and vegetable extracts, continental breads and local-style sweet martabaks.

Lunch is simple wood-fired Italian cuisine, including pizza and seafood, while the dinner menus feature a wider selection of pastas, salads, raw and cooked seafood, and antipasto platters.

 

Nahmyaa

Open for dinner, this stylish restaurant with expansive views is inspired by Southern Thai cuisine.

Snacks might include fish cakes and sates, while more substantial offerings include noodle soups, curries and stir-fried dishes.

Dinner includes whole fish (grilled, steamed and fried), river prawns and crabs, with tastes combining the hot, salty, sweet and sour notes that define this distinct culinary tradition.

 

COMO Beach Club

COMO Beach Club is located on Naka Yai Island, a 15-minute complimentary boat transfer from COMO Point Yamu.

Traditional treatment salas are set back in the jungle, catering for wellness with COMO Shambhala's award-winning range of therapies and massages.

At the edge of the sand stands a beach-style bar and restaurant, which serves up authentic Thai dishes and refreshing juices.

Guests can relax on daybeds beside the pool, or lie on loungers at the edge of the ocean. Watersports activities are also available, including kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing and wakeboarding. 

 

Aqua Bar

For bars in Cape Yamu, look no further than Point Yamu’s Aqua Bar. Here, they create cocktails and health-giving smoothies and juices to be enjoyed poolside, or in our Italian and Thai restaurants.

Over at the Aqua Bar, happy hour happens thrice a day from 11.00am to 12.00pm, 4.00pm to 5.00pm and 9.00pm to 10.00pm. During happy hour, enjoy a one for one promotion on classic cocktails, mocktails, local beer, house wine and spirits.
